The first Cristal Spa opens its doors in 2010, at the same time as the first and still today, the only 5-star hotel in the Aravis Massif, Au Coeur du Village ***** - Relais & Châteaux in La Clusaz.

BUT WHY CRISTAL SPA?

A madeleine of Gaston Pollet-Villard, patriarch of the family and still at the head of the Groupe PVG in memory of his first job, salesman then importer of semi-precious stones. The story goes that he began by collecting stones from the Aravis on which he deposited chamois figurines which he sold to souvenir shops under the amused eye and a puzzled point of his father Charles. Gaston quickly emulated and his small business grew as his ideas and his ambition...

Quickly, he imported quartz, crystals, amethysts from Brazil, Madagascar, ... and developed his own sales network throughout France. Once prosperous, he gave way to the promotion and construction, for which we will always find the presence of the stone Aravis, dear to its roots cluses.

THE BIRTH OF A BRAND

It was during the construction of the future spa of the Imperial Palace ****, when, the beginning of name proposals for this new place swarmed in the minds of everyone, that the idea of creating the brand Cristal Spa was born. Finally, why not develop spaces specific to today's and tomorrow's institutions?
